About Us

Annette and Jean Silo blur crop finalSince opening in 1969, The Centers at St. Camillus has grown steadily, adding programs and services to best meet the care and rehabilitation needs of the Central New York community. With a focus on rehabilitation, The Centers at St. Camillus is a multi-faceted medical complex that offers services and programs designed to help individuals reach their maximum potential and achieve their highest level of independence. Our services include inpatient and outpatient care, and home care. Our inpatient services include: long-term nursing care in our 224-bed nursing facility, short-term rehabilitation in our 40-bed inpatient rehabilitation center, specialized rehabilitation in our 20-bed brain injury unit, Central New York’s only NYS-certified inpatient brain injury unit.

Outpatient services include physical, occupational, and speech language therapies, all of which are provided in the Outpatient Rehabilitation Center. The Adult Day Health Program is a medical day health program that offers services to adults sixteen and older who are returning home after hospitalization or short-term rehabilitation, those who have a chronic or progressive illness, or require medical services to help them remain safely at home. Services include nursing, rehabilitation therapies, personal care, case management, and recreation in an inviting atmosphere. Wheelchair accessible transportation is available.

The Home Care Center at St. Camillus provides a variety of care and services to those who have returned home after surgery or illness to help achieve optimal health and independence at home. The Home Care Team provides nursing services, physical, occupational, and speech language therapies, nutritional counseling, and medical social services. All services offered by the St. Camillus Home Care Team are easily accessible.

While viewed as a ‘smaller’ healthcare community that mainly serves the west side of Onondaga County, individuals from across Central New York consistently choose St. Camillus as their facility of choice, based upon consistent rehabilitation success, the expertise of our staff, and our highly personalized approach to care.
